CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE MOVEMENT AGAINST SRO 110 IN KARGIL

Kargil is a densely populated area of ladakh region consists of more than 1,43,388 population and covering an area 14086 square kilometre(approx) surrounded by pakistan border, in state jammu and kashmir. Kargil being an important part of ladakh region has been suppressed by the Govt since 1947 independence. Peoples are oppressed and giving not any importance yet by the indian oppressor despite of having vital role during 1999 kargil war and had sacrificed many lives and properties for the nation. And today peoples of kargil getting discrimination as reward of 1999 war.
On the other hand leh another part of ladakh region with an area of 45110 square km(approx) is developing its strength of making tourist destination and other infrastructure development and all because of having an airport i:e; KBR airport which was later handed over to Airport Authority of India by Indian Air Force in 2016.
Ladakh region consist of two district i,e; Leh and Kargil separated from each other by 230km. Geographically both the region isolated and remains cutoff for around 6months a year due to blockage of Zojila pass in winter which is the main passage to connect with the rest of the country part.
PM Modi inaugurated work on Asia's longest Zojila pass tunnel To be built at a cost of Rs 6,809 crore, the 14.2km long Zojila pass tunnel will reduce the travel time between from 3.5 hours to 15 minutes and that will let people of ladakh region to connect with rest of the world throughout the year. But unfortunately due to crises of money in the company the work has stopped and which caused deep sorrow to the people of the region again as it was the only hope for them aspecially for people of kargil.
Since decade people of kargil were demanding for the divisional status in responce to the negligence toward development in kargil by the government and on the other hand leh were demanding for UT status.
In 2014 BJP won its first ever MP seat from Ladakh with the promises of granting Union Territory to Ladakh, inclusion of Boti(Ladakhi) language in the 8th schedule. But because of owing to the failure of the BJP government in fullfilling the same promises the BJP MP from Ladakh had resigned from the party and parliament recently. Now as 2019 election is near, the government announced DIVISIONAL STATUS To Ladakh on 8th of feb 2019 with its headquarter at Leh.A month before government announced central university for ladakh clearly stating its head office in leh. As a matter of fact, Leh is a Buddhist dominated district whereas Kargil is a Muslim dominated district,and for that causes, bjp government again and again ignoring kargil region expressing hatredness towards muslim and causing communal violence in ladakh.
Also Kargil demanded civil airport, full fledged university for ladakh, divisional status to ladakh since decades and at the end declared divisional status to ladakh with headquarter in leh under an order SRO 110.
Until the great mass of the people shall be filled with the sense of responsibility for each other's welfare, social justice can never be attained. After the announcement of Division headquarter at Leh, people from Kargil got anguish/in tribulation over the decision of not taking kargil seriously and are staging protest in various parts of the state with all the political and religious organizations unitedly under one banner for rotational base headquarter that is for 6 months in kargil and 6 month in leh and later within two day, they formed an joint resistence committee to look after the revoke of SRO 110. When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.
On the other hand social media is deludge with communal posts and comments from both the districts and disrupting the peace for 6th consecutive day. Some people making fake audio clip sharing in whatsapp group also some reported of making fake facebook id to cause communal violence and are all of a sudden.
Ladakh fully deserved Divisional status but the way that governor announced was in a very hasty and reckless manner and compelled people from Kargil to come on the road for raising voice against injustice. This is what Kargil facing discrimination at every stage and at every angle.
For these discriminations, every patrotic person all over india should heed and stand with the people of Kargil if they respect martyrs.
Today whole Kargil is on full day strike
Now everyone waiting for Governer revoke over SRO 110 to reconsider of headquarter.

Since 6 consecutive days Including closure of business, govt office, secretariat, schools even transportation to give strength to their demand of rotational bases headquarter and declared mass civil disobedience movement against SRO 110. But unfortunately political leaders from Leh not paying any heed to the oppressed people of Kargil for their right even political leaders of both the district agreed for rotational base headquarter after a meeting before the announcement. Now everyone waiting for Governer revoke over SRO 110 to reconsider of headquarter.
