CURRENT EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDIA
article by AJAZ ALI,
IN INDIA there are approximately 5500 business colleges and over 3 crore students arr enrolled studying in different universities but the whole matter is in a big scandal.
As per the ASSOCHAM report, around 93% pass out students are either unemployement or underemployed. Now the problem In India is not unemployment but underemployed . those parents who sent their children in for higher studies in engineering colleges, MBA colleges with a hefty loan with a hope for a bright future but results is something unbearable. Some private institute gets around 20 lac from a student for the course to complete but this underemployment effects their parents failing to repay the loan even monthly salary can't meet the interest of loan these are all because of incompetent faculty which the colleges hire for the profit.
colleges in India hiring faculty for salary in the range of 20k-30k and in comparison to that Stanford, Harvard like institute provide around up to 16.5 lac.
PSU's has reduced the hiring percentage by28%. Because automation increasing, artificial intelligence increasing. lean management process increasing. The rate at which country economy growing, at the same rate engineering graduates produces (tragic) and the industries cant hire such a huge number resulting in the hike of passouts. Literacy rate growing up to 90+ but all are on a page and students are not with the well-formed mind but well-filled mind. To work for the progress well-formed mind need.
India is youngest country in the world with the average age of 27 years in comparison to China Canada, Russia, US with 37-38 year of age but development in education sector poor.
If u see the curriculum of world best universities there u will find the students are involving with the project, problem-solving. case studies so work later smoothly in the corporate sector while doing the job but in India, u will find students are embedded in a classroom Lecture course.
The education system in India is as worse, if I take an example of DELHI, suppose if a professor assigns a project for a student, then he/she directly goes to the bookseller market as there are lots of copied project files and later used to submit that. and this later in corporate sector failing to solve the problems resulting (baba ji ka thullu)

In India, almost 40-50 per cent of internship reports are submitted by students are fake without actual practices and concerned faculties accepting that.
waow "that's incredible India lol "
"Because incompetent faculties teaching with conventional theoretical based classrooms approach".
Which produces students of 5 number for a single task while the corporate sector needs a single student for 5 task.
That's all about the education system in India.
THANK YOU!
